Herd Sires
All AI sires in use are highly proven within the Angus breed. We look for the "curve-benders" - the bulls that can achieve the greatest gain in progency performance while maintaining a reasonable birth weight.
Bulls such as: Rito 6I6 of 4B20 6807; GAR Expectation 4915; and Bon View New Design 878 have been used extensively the past two years. Each one has been proven to be at the top of the breed in performance and carcass traits while their daughters are in demand for their feminity and "mothering ability".
Since 2003, we have used clean-up sires that are sons of the bulls that we use in AI. Each "clean-up" bull used must come from a program that stresses the same breeding principles that we have and each bull must be worthy in their own right. The following herd bulls have all of the right "credentials".
Dandy 88 Design 44 of MWR
His calves come easy and explode with early growth! We've used him on heifers and mature cows and have not been disappointed. Here is a bull that transmits an extra touch of frame and stretch but keeps birth weight under control. He is sound, atheletic and an agressive breeder. His bloodline includes some of the top black Angus sires. Actual weaning weight: 780#'s, actual yearling weight: 1,260#'s with a 40 cm scrotal at 12 months.

New Design's Dandy 08 of MWR
This is a young bull that we used on a limited number of heifers and cows this year. His non-parent EPD's rank in the top 10% of the breed and he is a son of one of the most highly regarded carcass trait leaders of the breed. This is a sound footed, well muscled bull with excellent frame size. Take note of his smooth shoulders designed for calving ease.

Rito 6I6 Royalty 41 of MWR
A really thick bull with an excellent muscle pattern and sound feet and legs. This bull is a proven calving-ease bull so expect his calves to come early. His first bull calf crop averaged 667 lbs. at weaning with an average of 72 lbs. for birth weight (no creep). As with his sire, Rito 6I6, this bull has a good disposition that is passed along to his progeny. This is one of the most fault-free bulls we have ever used.
